Laser Hair Removal

- The area being treated must be freshly shaven within 24 hours. Do not remove any hair before hand in a way that pulls out the hair completely. Laser hair removal uses the hair shaft as a conduit to transfer energy into the unwanted hair follicle to destroy it. If there is no hair, the treatment will be unstucessful.
- Do not use any cream depilatories on the area to be treated.
- The laser is effective on tan skin. Just make sure you don't have a sunburn!
Avoid hot baths, showers, saunas, hot tubs, and tanning 24 hours after your session.
DYE-VL Technology
The Harmony DYE VL by Alma Lasers combines two trusted technologies to create the new “Gold Standard” for the treatment of a variety of skin conditions. In most cases, a series of treatments spread 4 weeks apart will be necessary. We will work with you to develop a treatment plan to meet your goals.
For those seeking treatments for:
- Pigmentation issues/sun damage

- Venus malformation
Mild swelling may occur near the treatment area, you may use a cold or ice pack in 10-minute intervals as needed for the next 24 hours.
- Avoid sun exposure to the treated area for the next 24-48 hours.
- Avoid tanning after treatment sessions, tanning may enhance melanin regeneration and result in hyperpigmentation.
- Use a broad spectrum of sunscreen of at least SPF 30 or higher at all times.
- Avoid hot baths or showers, aerobic exercise on the treated area for 24-48 hours.
- Don't scrape or exfoliate treated area.
This will depend on what you are getting treated, but generally 3-6 treatments at 4-week intervals will produce the best results.
